Operated by our family, our goal at Bear Mountain Apiary is to bring the freshest and most flavorful locally produced honey to our customers. In a typical season we will harvest honey three different times, which will result in three distinctly different flavors and colors of honey based on the different nectars brought in by the bees. A favorite product among customers is our comb honey. Nothing quite compares to tasting honey straight from the wax comb.
It was an honor for us to meet Lieutenant Governor John Fetterman at an Earth Day celebration in Lock Haven, PA.

We are a family and we are beekeepers making memories along this journey. Good honey and understanding the beauty of nature are things everyone should experience.
As the different pollens change with the seasons , we harvest smaller amounts through the growing season to take advantage of the unique honey created by the different plants that bloom throughout the season.
